About 140U-I3C3-C35

The Allen-Bradley 140U-I3C3-C35 Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) provides circuit protection against ground fault, short-circuit, and overload situations. It will accommodate a current rating of 35 Amps and a breaking capacity of 35 kA at 480 Volts. The circuit breaker has various features, including high current breaking and interrupting capacities, electronic and thermal/magnetic protection devices, field-installed accessories, and factory-installed accessories. The internal accessories for the 140U-I3C3-C35 Circuit Breaker include the Auxiliary Contact (AX) that shows the molded case circuit breaker's status when it is on or off, and the Alarm Contacts (AL) that shows the circuit breaker's status when it trips, The test button is used to initiate an alarm trip when the trip happens as a result of the residue current, and it can signal a release due to an Undervoltage or shunt trip, or it can trip the breaker as a result of a short circuit or overcurrent. The Thermal Trip Contacts (TU) cause the MCCB to trip only when it has a sensed protection trip, a short circuit, or an overcurrent. The Shunt Trip (SNT) on the MCCB can trip it remotely by the use of control voltage to the coil of the shunt trip.

The Allen-Bradley 140U-I3C3-C35 Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is normally supplied with 39 inches (1 meter) of pig-tail wiring. Its Undervoltage Release (UVR) opens the circuit breaker if the UV relay drops the supply voltage below a level of 0.7 with a trip rating from 0.7 to 0.35. The MCCB resets if the supply voltage of the relay rating is higher than 0.85. Also, it has a contact that is a combination of the Auxiliary Contact and Alarm Contact (AX/AL). The Allen-Bradley 140U-I3C3-C35 Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 40 degrees Celsius without derating, an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
