The I-Frame circuit breakers have a variety of optional accessories, the Allen-Bradley 140U-I3C3-C50 MCCB's mechanical accessories include Terminal Lugs, Extended Terminals (supplied with 100 millimeters of phase barrier), Spreader Terminals (with 200 millimeters of phase barrier), Phase Barriers, Terminal Covers (with IP 40 rated finger protection in the case of accidental contact with live parts ), Rotary Variable Depth Operators (with a 140UP style handle), Rotary Variable Depth Operators with an Internal NFPA 79 Operating Handle, Extension Shafts, Support Brackets, Direct Rotary Operators, Flange-mounted Cable Operators, and Motor Operators.

The 140U-I3C3-C50 Molded Case Circuit Breaker also has external accessories that include an Auxiliary Contact (AX) that electrically shows the breaker's status as on or off, an Alarm Contact (AL) electrically shows the state of the breaker when it is tripped, an Auxiliary/Alarm Contact (AX/AL) that are both the auxiliary contact and alarm contact combined, a Shunt Trip (SNT) that provides the circuit breakers with remote tripping (Undervoltage tripping is not possible when using the shunt trip), an Undervoltage Release (UVT) that trips the breaker automatically if the voltage drops to between 35 and 70% of the present value. The Shunt Trip is usually not in use when the Undervoltage Release trips the breaker.
