The 140U-I3C3-C80 circuit breaker is a Frame I molded-case circuit breaker that has been designed and developed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This breaker comes with a fixed-thermal and a fixed-magnetic detection mechanism that consists of the use of two bimetal bars combined with magnets. This combination is widely used in different industries since it makes the detection mechanism quicker than traditional methods. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140U-I3C3-C80 Frame I molded-case circuit breaker provides overload current and short-circuit current protection to different equipment including motors and conduits. It operates with a voltage range of 220 and the 690 Volts AC and a frequency of 60 Hertz. This breaker comes with three poles that are in charge of performing the tripping action that shuts down the breaker completely. The overall rating of the drive consists of 125 Amps.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140U-I3C3-C80 Frame I molded-case circuit breaker does not include any kind of housing or enclosure that covers its external structure. It is recommended to install the breaker in a housing or cabinet that covers its most important parts at least. This breaker detects abnormal current and it automatically stops any current flow so that equipment is kept safe. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140U-I3C3-C80 Frame I molded-case circuit breaker operates with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius without any kind of derating. The breaker must not be exposed to corrosive materials and vapors that can damage its structure. All the wiring that is employed must be rated for operation at up to 75 degrees Celsius. The drive's current rating will be determined by the voltage that is applied.
