The 140U-I6C3-C80 UL Listed Molded Case Circuit Breaker is an I-Frame circuit breaker that is designed to provide thermal overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection to a wide range of industrial control panel applications. It can be used in reverse feed applications, control circuit applications, feeder circuit applications, high-intensity discharge applications, and Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HACR) applications. The 140U-I6C3-C80 Circuit Breaker, like all bulletin 140U Circuit Breakers, is designed around compact blueprint, offering a high interrupting rating and enhanced protection even in control panel applications with limited panel space. The 140U-I6C3-C80 Circuit Breaker has a 3-phase voltage rating of 480 Volts AC and an acceptable operating voltage range of 230 to 690 Volts AC. It has a current rating of 80 Amps, and a maximum interrupting rating of 65 kA. It has a standard insulation voltage rating of 750 Volts and an impulse withstand rating of up to 6000 Volts.



 



The 140U-I6C3-C80 Circuit Breaker has an electrical life cycle of about 10,000 operations, and it also has rated a mechanical lifespan of 100,000 operations. It comes with a 3-pole design and it is supplied with a standard end cap line and load end terminal for easy field wiring.
