The 140U-J6G3-D25 circuit breaker is a molded case breaker device by Allen-Bradley. It is part of the 140U series from Allen-Bradley. It is a three-phase device with support for single-phase applications too. It comes with three poles and it can support multiple circuits at a time. With a current rating of 160 Amps and a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC, the circuit breaker supports an interrupt rating of 65 kA at 480 Volts. It supports both short time and ground fault trip functions. The front part of the 140U-J6G3-D25 circuit breaker comes with line and load side lug terminals. The line terminal is the one where the wires from the panel are connected. The load terminal is the place where the application or load device is connected. These terminals need to be connected properly for the breaker to function properly. This circuit breaker variant is a solid-state electronic breaker that offers enhanced performance. It is built using high-quality materials and it is cost-effective in nature.

The 140U-J6G3-D25 circuit breaker comprises individual components that are connected together. These components are easily available and they are easy to replace when needed. It reduces the need to keep the components stocked. The installation area should be free from electrostatic discharge because the components can be damaged by the discharge. The 140U-J6G3-D25 circuit breaker temperature should remain between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius for normal operation. The temperature is maintained by using the convection cooling method, hence the airflow between the nearest ventilation source and the circuit breaker should not be obstructed.
