The Allen-Bradley 140U-K6G3-D40 circuit breaker has a supply voltage of 480 Volts, an interrupting rate of 65 kA, a rated current of 400 Amps, and a 3-pole configuration. It provides Electronic LSG protection (Long, Short, Ground Fault). It has factory-assembled internal control modules which are mounted on both the left side and the right side of the circuit breakers. Modules mounted on the left side include the Undervoltage Release (UVT) and Shunt Trip (SNT) module whereas modules mounted on the right side include the Auxiliary Contact (AX) and Alarm Contact (AL) modules and a combination of Auxiliary/Alarm Contact (AX/AL) module. The main function of the Allen-Bradley 140U-K6G3-D40 circuit breaker is to protect circuits against short-circuits, ground faults, and overloads. The circuit protection devices are installed in bus-bar trunking tap-offs, switchboards, panelboards, and individual enclosures.
