The 1606-XLEDNET3 module is a compact power supply module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It operates with 200 to 240 Volts AC input voltage. It has an output power rating of 60 Watts. The pluggable terminals are on the side of the module. This switched-mode power supply module produces an output current of 2.5 Amps. The device uses “DC-OK” signals and it has minimal heat generation while operating with a normal load. The 1606-XLEDNET3 module uses a DeviceNet adapter for networking and connectivity. It has received the NEC Class 2 power standard rating. The output ripple and noise voltage of the module is 50 mVpp. The turn-on time and the turn-on delay of the module are 90 milliseconds and 100 milliseconds, respectively. The operational temperature range of the device is in between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature of the device ranges between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. The module can be mounted by using the DIN Rail. The mounting orientation must be so the module is positioned with the output terminals on the top and the input terminals on the bottom of the device. The airflow should not be obstructed because the device is convection cooled.
The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLEDNET3 module comes with input fuses along in the package. These fuses support branch circuits rated at up to 20 Amps. An external source of protection may be required if the supplying branch has a current rating greater than the internal fuse. The device has been tested and it is suitable for industrial/factory environments. These devices meet the EMC requirements. The 1606-XLEDNET3 module is being used in a wide range of applications. It is used in various electronic devices and it generates low DC voltage from an AC main voltage source. The power module comes with a “DC OK” relay contact which monitors the output voltage.
