The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1609-P3000A uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has the levels of reliability and ruggedness that are required in strict operating conditions. The unit comes with capabilities such as remote configuration and monitoring, advanced battery management, extended runtime, proper regulation of frequency and voltage, and automatic internal bypass. The 1609-P3000A power supply is compatible with all standardized towers and racks and it is made in accordance with standards such as the CE, CSA C22.2 (107), FCC and the UL 1778 standards. This product is part of the Allen-Bradley 1609-P series of power supplies, which also offers accessories such as external battery packs, remote starter cables, rail kits for mounting, and network management cards.  This double-conversion online UPS unit has a rated output power of 3000 Volt-Amps or 2100 Watts, along with an input/output voltage of 230 Volts AC.

The nominal input current of the 1609-P3000A power supply is 11 Amps while its maximum current is 14 Amps. The unit operates within a 45 to 65 Hertz frequency range (self-sensing) and it includes a power factor correction (PFC) greater than 0.95. This model comes with a 3 to 15 Amps rated circuit breaker and protective features such as IEC 1000-4-4 surge protection, 30 to 60 seconds overload protection, and thermal overload protection. The 1609-P3000A power supply provides 86% efficiency on battery power and 88% efficiency online. When it comes to battery life, the unit can run for 14 minutes at a full load and for up to 34 minutes at half load. In addition to impressive run time, the unit can recharge up to 90%  within 3 hours and the battery has a lifetime of 2 to 4 years, depending on operating conditions. The 1609-P3000A unit puts out a heat of 655 BTU per hour and it produces audible noise of less than 55 decibels at a distance of 1 meter and at a full load. The 1609-P3000A power supply has a standard size for its category and it weighs around 63.5 kilograms (14 pounds). In addition to that, the unit has an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and a storage temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. It should be noted that the specified storage temperature range is only for short-term storage.
