The 1732E-16CFGM12R is an Allen-Bradley ArmorBlock module. This module is a Two (2) port Ethernet I/P module with integrated Sixteen (16) discrete, sinking input channels rated 24 VDC and Sixteen (16) discrete, sourcing 24 VDC output channels. Each output channel has on-0.5 A and maximum current output of 8 A per module. The dual Ethernet ports support communication rates of 10/100mbps, full or half-duplex communication.

The Allen-Bradley 1732E-16CFGM12R is an ArmorBlock module. This module is a compact I/O module with an integrated dual Ethernet communication interface. Being part of the ArmorBlock product series, this module does not require installation within an enclosure as it comes with an IP65 protection rating. It uses D-Code M12 connectors for ethernet I/P and M12 style I/O connectors for input and output connections and mini-stye connectors for auxiliary power input. The 1732E-16CFGM12R is also provided with node address switches for setting the network ID of the device. The integral Ethernet ports function as embedded ethernet switches supporting linear and Device Level Ring (DLR) topology. Both ports support 10/100 Mbps communication speed in half and full-duplex mode. This ArmorBlock module has Sixteen (16) discrete input modules that support sink wiring configuration and accepts 24 VDC input voltage signals. Each input channel has maximum on-state input of 30 VDC while the minimum on-state input is 11 VDC. Similarly, the maximum on-state input current is 5 mA at 30 VDC. The signal transition delay of each channel is typical, rated at 0-16000 µs. The output channels of the 1732E-16CFGM12R are Sixteen (16) 24 VDC sourcing output channels with an output current rating of 0.5 Ampere per channel and a total of 8.0 Amperes per module.
