The Allen-Bradley 1732E-IF4M12R is an ArmorBlock analog input module. This module features Four (4) integrated analog input channels and built-in dual ethernet ports that function as an embedded ethernet switch. This ArmorBlock module uses circular, sealed connectors particularly M12, D-style and mini-style connectors, providing tight and secure connections of communication, I/O, and power supply terminals. It allows the module to act as a distributed I/O station and permit installation near the machine or process and does not require installation within an enclosure as the inherent protection rating of the device is IP65 / 66 / 67. The integrated analog input channel accepts 0…20 mA, 4…20 mA current and 0…10V, 0…5V ±5V, ±10V (bipolar range) voltage signals. It has a conversion resolution of 16-bits and a data format of 16-bit sign-magnitude. Each channel has a conversion rate of 1.005 kHz and a notch filter of 1 kHz while the accuracy of measurement is 0.1 % Full-scale at an operating temperature of 25 Degree Celsius. The dual Ethernet switches support transmission speeds of 10/100 Mbps, full and half-duplex mode with a maximum distance of 100 meters per segment. This module requires external power supply voltage to operate with a maximum input voltage of 30 VDC and a minimum of 12 VDC while the nominal voltage is 24 VDC. It requires a 300 mA supply current while the power dissipation is 3 Watts at 24 VDC and 3.5 Watts, maximum when the module is unloaded.

The Allen-Bradley ArmorBlock Dual-Port 24 Volt EtherNet/IP Module known as the 1732E-IF4M12R module has a total of 4 analog input and 4 analog outputs. For the general specifications, the 1732E-IF4M12R ArmorBlock module has a configurable input type as well as a notch filter of 1 kilohertz per channel. The overload support is 30 Volts (continuous). The auxiliary power voltage range is between 12 and 30 Volts, and the module’s resolution is 16 bits. It has a 16-bit sign-magnitude data format and a conversion rate of 1.005 kilohertz per channel. This module has a 50-Volt continuous isolation voltage along with a basic insulation type for its inputs and sensor power to the network. It also has a maximum power consumption of 3.5 Watts. More general specifications include LED indicators to allow the end-users to determine the state of the module, and the module status is shown by a red/green LED, the network status LED is also red/green, the link status LED is green/yellow, the auxiliary power LED is green, and the I/O status LED is red/green. The environmental specifications on this module include an operating temperature range of -4 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a non-operating temperature range of -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum ambient temperature on this module is 140 degrees Fahrenheit. More environmental specifications include a relative humidity range between 5 and 95% (non-condensing). The vibration on this module is rated at 5 g at 10 to 500 Hertz frequency, and its operating shock rating is 30 g. The non-operating shock is 50 g, and the 1732E-IF4M12R module has an emissions rating of IEC 61000-6-4.
