The Allen-Bradley 1788-EN2FFR linking device is a Bulletin 1788 linking device. It can link the Ethernet/IP network and a single segment in a FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 layer. The 1788-EN2FFR Ethernet/IP linking device can connect to a power supply and a ControlLogix controller in an Ethernet network and act as an interface between the ControlLogix controller and H1 media such as junction boxes which are connected to different field devics. It should not be used with a power conditioner device. The 1788-EN2FFR Ethernet/IP linking device connects to the Ethernet network with an RJ45 connector.
