The Allen-Bradley 2750-AH antenna is a Bulletin 2750 series intelligent antenna. With the Allen-Bradley 2760-RB interface module, this antenna can be used on a DH-485 communication network. The 2750-AH antenna transfers information between a RFID tag and hosts on a DH-485 network. The smart antennas function as slave devices which respond to requests and commands from a PLC on the network. The 2750-AH antenna performs either read or write actions with read or write RFID tags or read-only actions with programmable RFID tags. The operating range for the 2750-AH antenna is up to 4 feet or 122 centimeters for the programmable tags and up to 2 feet or 61 centimeters for the read or write tags. The antenna comes with a flanged plate with holes for mounting.

An LED panel is available on the Allen-Bradley 2750-AH antenna for providing diagnostic information. The antenna also features a removable cover plate with a wiring access opening for antenna wiring connections. The cover on the antenna also allows easy access to the DIP switch which is used for configuring the antenna node number and the baud rate. Also available on the 2750-AH antenna are terminals for connecting the DH-485 lines, a power supply, and an object detecting device. In addition to the 2750-AH antenna, several components make up a RFID system including RF tags, a power supply, and an interface module. The main body of the antenna is made of diecast aluminum. The dimensions of the antenna body are 13.5 inches in length, 7.8 inches in width, and 4.37 inches in height. The shipping weight of the antenna is 6.4 kilograms.
