The Allen-Bradley 2750-C1 cable is a coaxial cable. It has a length of 10 feet. The 2750-C1 cable is designed for connecting the Bulletin 2750 smart RFID antennas (catalog numbers 2750-ASPRF, 2750-ASPR, and 2750-ASP) to remote antenna heads (catalog number 2750-H1). The minimum bend radius of the cable is 2 inches or 51 millimeters. The cables should be routed so that there is no tension on the cable connectors. The 2750-C1 cable pairs are color-coded and color bands at each cable end are either marked red or blue. Allen-Bradley recommends that when more than one antenna is being used, one color cable should be used for the TX line and the other color cable should be used for the RX lines throughout the RFID system.
The TX interface on the antenna should be connected to the TX interface of the remote head by using a 2750-C1 cable. Similarly, the RX interface on the antenna should be connected to the RX interface of the remote head by using a 2750-C1 cable. The recommended torque to be used while mating the connectors is 7 to 10 pounds on an inch. For an RFID system consisting of smart antennas, remote antenna heads, and interconnecting coaxial cables, the recommended ambient temperature ranges from 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. When the 2750-C1 cable is kept in storage or is being transported, the minimum ambient temperature should be -40 degrees Celsius and the maximum ambient temperature should be 85 degrees Celsius. The installation and operation of the RFID system should be performed in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
