The Allen-Bradley 2755-DH1 module is a 2755 series multi-purpose barcode workstation. It supports Allen-Bradley scanning devices such as the 2755-LD2 and 2755-LD1 devices. It can be used to decode and send the scanned data to RS-422 or RS-232 host devices. The host port on the workstation supports RS-232 and RS-422 for communication with a host computer. The terminal port enables interfacing with an ASCII display and it can be used to view data as it is decoded. The default configuration of the decoder can be used for many industrial applications. The configuration can also be customized. The input voltage range for the workstation is 90 to 264 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. The power requirement of the device is 40 VA. Five LED indicators are available on the 2755-DH1 workstation and they are the “power,” “laser on,” “valid read,” “transmit,” and “receive.”
