The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF8C is a CompactLogix 8-channel analog output current module. This output module has 8 single-ended outputs that can provide the users with several output signals when they are needed in applications that run CompactLogix controllers. The nominal output current ranges for the 1769-OF8C are 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA with full-scale analog output current ranges of 0 to 20 mA and of 3.2 to 21 mA. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF8C can support up to 8 channels of simultaneous analog current output. On the front side of the module, there is one LED “OK” indicator if the module is not experiencing problems. This status LED light can warn the users if it detects an open-loop condition. This condition can cause an interruption in PLC software so users should have predetermined procedures for this kind of event. The module also has overcurrent and overvoltage protection features.
