About 1769-WS

The Hardy HI 1769-WS Weigh Scale Module was designed by Hardy Process Solutions for use with the Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix programmable controllers. It is available as a single-channel module. The weigh scale module has a WAVERSAVER feature installed to get rid of the disruptive vibrations that are commonly found in measurement and weight control applications. The WAVEWSAVER feature only allows below 0.25 Hertz of unwanted vibration signals and it provides stable actual readings. The Hardy HI 1769-WS Weigh Scale Module conditions and digitizes weight signals for 110 times per second with more than 8 million resolution counts over a differential signal between 0 to 15 millivolts. It provides 5 Volts DC excitation voltage to propel as far as four 350-ohm load cells or load sensors linked to a single (WS) scale.

 

The 1769-WS Weigh Scale Module has Add-On-Profiles (AOPs) and Faceplates to create an easy and smooth integration process for weighing with Allen-Bradley PACs and PLCs by using the Studio 5000 and RSLogix software. It also has an Integrated Technician (IT) feature that is used concurrently with an IT Junction Box to offer built-in system diagnostics that allow for the diagnosing and troubleshooting of the weighing system. The Hardy HI 1769-WS Weigh Scale Module has specific environmental conditions that include a storage temperature range between -40 and 65 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit) and an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). It has a non-condensing relative humidity range of 5 to 95 percent and a weight of 0.27 kilograms (0.6 pounds). The weigh scale module has approvals from various standards including the UL/CUL, CE and Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, and D standards.
