The MVI69-DNP is a ProSoft Ethernet Global Data Network Interface module. It is classified as an EGD series module and it is compatible with the CompactLogix series. This module comes with one slot and features the ladder logic data transfer protocol. The module comes with electrical isolation of 1500 VMS and has a power supply distance rating of 2. The dimensions rating for the MVI69-DNP is standard 1769 Single slot module with a current load of 800 mA at a maximum of 5 Volts DC. The MVI69-DNP serves as an ideal solution when the DNP 3.0 master/slave protocol connectivity is to be added to the CompactLogix platform. The MVI69-DNP i9s recognized as an input and output module and comes with access to processor memory for data transfer between the processor and the module.

The protocol used for data transfer between the processor and the module is ladder logic and a sample ladder file is included. A configuration data file is also obtained from the configuration text file that is downloaded to the module. The MVI69-DNP is compatible to the CompactLogix and the MicroLogix 1500 LRP controllers.
