The Allen-Bradley 5069-AEN2TR is a Compact 5000 Ethernet I/P communication adapter that facilitates high-speed data transfer between Logix 5000 controllers and distributed I/O modules. This Ethernet I/P adapter is compatible for connection with linear and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies and capable of acting as DLR supervisor as well. This Ethernet I/P adapter features Two (2) Ethernet communication ports located at the bottom of the module, supporting transmission rated of 10 Mbps / 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps transmission rate.
The 5069-AEN2TR has removable terminal blocks for terminal external supply voltage as well as passthrough voltage to nearby modules.
For securing the configuration of the 5069-AEN2TR, an Allen-Bradley Secure Digital (SD) card may be used such as 1784-SD1 with 1GB memory and 1784-SD2 with 2GB memory may be used with this Ethernet adapter. Up to 32GB SD card memory may be installed however, 3rd party SD cards are not tested with this adapter and may experience data loss.
The 5069-AEN2TR is also provided with One (1) USB port, typically used for loading of initial configuration to the module. This adapter also uses Two (2) Removable Terminal Blocks (RTB) for connecting MOD and SA power. Additionally, external power supply with voltage range of 18-32 VDC may be wired to provide external MOD or SA power.
