The Allen-Bradley 5069-IA16 is a Compact 5000 Discrete AC input module. This module enables interfacing of binary operating signaling devices that operates at voltage category of 120 / 240VAC. This module has Sixteen (16) AC input channels in a single group. It is designed to accept signal voltage range of 79-246VAC with frequency of 47-63 Hz.

The 5069-IA16 is compatible of serving as local I/O module of 5069 CompactLogix controllers or distributed I/O component of both CompactLogix and ControlLogix controller systems. Distributed I/O architecture may be implemented if the 5069-IA16 is installed with an Ethernet I/P communication adapter.

The module’s channel exhibits an off to on signal delay of 10 ms (typ) + filter time where selectable filter times include 1 ms for 120VAC input and 1 ms, 2 ms, 5 ms for 240VAC input.
