The Allen-Bradley 5069-L310ER-NSE is a CompactLogix 5380 controller. This controller comes with a user memory of 1MB and ships with a non-volatile memory amounting to 2GB through the provided 1784-SD2 Secure Digital (SD) card.
This controller operates an a temperature range of 0 °C - +60 °C or 32 °F +140 °F while operating shock and vibration are 30 g and 5 g @ 10…500 Hz, respectively. Mount this controller to a DIN rail made of highly conductive material. Recommended DIN rail is Compatible zinc-plated, chromate steel DIN rail or the EN50022 DIN rail which measures 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in.). This module only supports horizontal orientation.
The 5069-L310ER-NSE supports installation of up to Eight (8) local I/O modules as well implementing distributed I/O architecture. This controller has MOD Power voltage range of range 18-32V DC and max. current of 450 mA. The module’s MOD power passthrough is 9.55 A @ 18-32V DC; SA Power voltage range 0-32V DC, 00240V AC, 47…63 Hz ATEX/IECEX, 125V AC max. It has power dissipation of 8.5 Watts and thermal dissipation of 29 BTU/hr.
Communication interfaces provided with this controller are Two (2) Ethernet I/P interfaces and One 91) USB 2.0 Type B port. Ethernet I/P supports transmission rates of 10 / 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps while USB port supports up to 12 Mbps.
The maximum number of Ethernet/IP nodes supported by this module is 16. The capacity of this module is 1 MB. The Module Power bus voltage of the Allen-Bradley 5069-L310ER-NSE is from 18 to 32V DC. The operating temperature of this module is 0 to 60 °C (32 to 140 °F). The storage temperature of this module is -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F). The maximum surrounding air temperature of this module is 60 °C. The relative humidity of this module is from 5-95% without condensation. The 5069-L310ER has an operating shock of 30 g (3 pulses, 11 ms). The nonoperating shock of this module is 50 g (3 pulses, 11 ms). If you insert or release the Allen-Bradley 5069-L310ER-NSE when the power is on, an electrical arc may occur. This may cause an explosion in hazardous locations. This module does not support "Removal and Insertion Under Power" (RIUP) capabilities. Do not connect or disconnect the module when power is applied.

The 5069-L310ER-NSE supports up to 24 Ethernet nodes.
Yes. This controller uses RTB for connection of MOD and SA power. Compatible RTBs are 5069-RTB4-SCREW & 5069-RTB6-SCREW and 5069-RTB4-SPRING & 5069-RTB6-SPRING terminal blocks.
For spring terminals block, recommended wire strip length is 10 mm (0.39 in.) while 12 mm (0.47 in.) for screw type terminal blocks.
The Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5380 5069-L310ER-NSE exhibits 1 Megabyte Application Memory, 24 Ethernet/IP Nodes, 8 I/O, 0 Motion Axes, 1 Type B 2.0 Full-Speed USB and 2 Ethernet/IP Ports (10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps).
The 5069-L310ER-NSE features 1 MB user memory and permits installation of up to Eight (8) local I/O modules. This controller is used for small to medium applications due to its relatively low embedded user memory and limited support for installation of local I/O however, when compared to the 5069-L306ER, the user memory of the is slightly higher.
