5069-L330ERS2

The Allen-Bradley 5069-L330ERS2 is a 5380 Compact GuardLogix controller. This controller is a standard controller and a safety controller at the same time as it can perform Standard and safety task simultaneously. This controller comes with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 rating, compatible for use in applications that require such safety rating.

This controller is equipped with both user and safety memory, Specifically, 3 MB user memory and 1.5 MB safety memory. Additionally, dedicated tasks for both standard and safety functions can be configured with this controller. Specifically, up to 31 Standard tasks and 1 Safety tasks may be configured. A single task to this controller may take up to 1000 programs and use all the provided triggers.

The communication interfaces available to this controller are Two (2) Ethernet interface and One (1) USB port. Up to 12 Mbps of transfer can be achieve using this port. The ethernet ports support all the communication needed by the controller including industrial communication. Compatible network topologies are Linear, Star and Ethernet I/P with transmission rate of 10 / 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps. These ports can also operate with single and dual IP address which fits accordingly to the network topology it connects to. Up to 60 Ethernet I/P nodes and 32 socket connection are supported by the Ethernet I/P ports. The 5069-L330ERS2 is configured using the Studio 500 Logix Designer.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5069-L330ERS2 controller is an Ethernet controller. It has 2 embedded Ethernet ports that can support communication speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, or 1 Gbps. The compatible Ethernet topologies for this controller include the Linear Ethernet topology, the Star Ethernet topology, and the DLR or Device Level Ring Ethernet topology. The 5069-L330ERS2 controller also supports 2 different Ethernet operating modes which are the Linear/DLR mode and the Dual-IP mode which is available with version 29 or later of the Logix Designer application. This controller can connect to and communicate with up to 60 Ethernet nodes at a time in a system. The 5069-L330ERS2 controller also has one of the highest available capacities for supporting local I/O modules because it can support up to 31 local I/O modules at a time.
