The Allen-Bradley 5069-OB8 is a High-Current output module from the Compact 5000 I/O product family. This module provides a significantly higher current output ratings of 2 A per channel, 4 A per group and 8 A per module. It is equipped with surge current protection with rating of 4 A, maximum for 10 ms per point that is repeatable every 2 s.

This module has Eight (8) output channels, divided in Two (2) groups of Four (4) channels each. It has an output voltage range of 10-32VDC; MOD power rating of 75 mA @ 18…32V DC; maximum MOD power passthrough of 9.55 A @ 18…32V DC; LA Power of 2 A per channel @ 10…32V DC; 8 A per group @ 10…32V DC; 16 A per module @ 10…32V DC; SA power passthrough of 9.95 A @ 10…32V DC. This module does not draw current from the SA Power bus. This module has a maximum power dissipation of 3.2 W and maximum Thermal dissipation of 10.9 BTU/hr. It has an isolation voltage rating of 250V (continuous), Basic Insulation Type which is tested at 1800V AC for 60 s. isolation point between LA power and output points as well as individual channel isolation is not existing with this device.

This module comes with a total of Nine (9) LED indicators. Eight 98) of these indicators are assigned for each individual channel while One (1) LED acts as the overall module status indicator. It occupies single slot of the assembly and directly mounts to a DIN rail and aligns with adjacent modules using the top and bottom interlocking piece.

The isolation voltage of the Allen-Bradley 5069-OB8 is 300V (continuous). The isolation is the Basic Insulation Type. This is type-tested at 1800V AC for 60s.
