The 5069-RTB14CJC-SCREW CompactLogix 5000 Screw Type Terminal Block Kit by Allen-Bradley is a screw type removable terminal block kit, used in only thermocouple modes of the Compact 5000 4 Channel Analog I/O modules, and it is used for installing analog I/O modules on the chassis of the CompactLogix 5380 and Compact 5000 controllers. The 5069-RTB14CJC-SCREW is used for field side wiring for I/O modules and also wiring to the controller, and it provides screw type connection for the module. It is a 14-pin screw type terminal block with a cold-junction compensation thermistor, and it is made of 0.5 - 1.5 mm2 (22 - 16 AWG) gauge solid or stranded shielded copper wire that is rated at 105 °C (221 °F), or higher, and with a maximum insulation of 3.5 mm (0.14 in). It has an insulation length of 12 mm (0.47 in), and a maximum terminal torque of 0.4N-m (3.5lb·in).

The 5069-RTB14CJC-SCREW is wired by connecting stripped wires to the terminal, and by closing the wire to the terminal using a screwdriver with 0.4 N-m (3.5lb•in) screw torque. It is installed by connecting the bottom of the terminal block to the module, and pushing it against the module until it clicks in place, and at the same time keeping the DIN rail latch closed. It has a surrounding operational temperature of 60 °C (140 °F) at 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, and like all Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5000 components, it can withstand a 30G operational shock and 4.6G vibration. The 5069-RTB14CJC-SCREW is c-UL-us, CE, RCM, Ex, and KCM certified.
