The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SPRING Spring Type RTB is created to enhance high-velocity transfer across the IP/Ethernet network between a Logix5000 device and a 5069 compact I/O regulator. The compact is also crafted to ensure the constant provision of the system-side and the field-side powers to the 5069 Compact I/O modules. It can also support up to thirty-one 5069 Compact I/O modules. This drive is created to cater to moderate and very-high-performance applications. The 5069-RTB6-SPRING drive is highly resistant to sunlight and other sources of UV radiation. It is only advisable to disconnect this device when the area has been identified as nonhazardous or the power has been fully removed.
The system-side power is utilized to operate the 5069-RTB6-SPRING. The MOD power required during the application is supplied through the MOD Power RTB and then passed across the MOD Power Bus module. The users are advised to ensure that they limit the MOD source of power to 10 Amps and a maximum voltage of 18 to 32 Volts DC. It is also necessary that the users confirm the power bus current draw in the plant. For instance, in case the aggregate MOD power current draw, inclusive of the current inrush demand, is 5 Amps; a user can utilize the supply which is strictly limited to 5 Amps. When using the 5069-RTB6-SPRING, the users will notice that the application might demand a power regulation device, for instance, a switch in between the external 24 Volt power sources. The application can also require the adapter used to regulate when the module is powered on by the users. An electric arc can easily occur when the user disconnects or connects the device when the field side power is still on.
