1751-SLBA

The Allen-Bradley 1751-SLBA SynchLink Fiber Base Block convert optical signals coming from a SynchLink station to electrical signals. It also supplies electrical power to the splitter block. The 1751-SLBA is also applicable for Ethernet and other communication interface modules. This model is also approved by the CE, CSA, C-TICK, KC, and UL standards with 1751-IN001 publication number.

The 1751-SLBA features a bypass and a passthrough mode. It has an amperage rating of 0.6A and 1.2A at 5.1V DC output. The input signal generated is in SynchLink and the output is in electrical signals. The SynchLink fiber base block also known as a ControlLogix sub-brand with a Rexel number of 61259. The 1751-SLBA can mount on a DIN rail with LED status light indicators.

The 1751-SLBA drive connects to SynchLink with special SynchLink fiber optic cables and other components like splitter blocks, base blocks, and bypass switch blocks. With the help of the SynchLink hub that is a modular fiber repeater that has base blocks and splitter blocks, it will convert the optical signal coming from the SynchLink node to electrical signals. The 1751-SLBA then retimes and retransmits them simultaneously to a maximum of 4 fiber 4-port splitter blocks. The base block needs 24V DC input to supply power to all of the splitter blocks.

When it comes to the 1751-SLBA’s specifications, it operates in low-voltage directives to comply with CE for producing safety extra-low voltage in order for this drive function with an operating temperature rating from 0-60 °C (32-140 °F). Mainly, the voltage rating comes with a DC input supply of 24V DC nominal and a 5.1V DC nominal output, and its input voltage range is 20-30V DC with a recommended regulated power supply.
