The Allen-Bradley 1756-EN2TRXT is a high-performance bridge with dual copper embedded switch technology. A ControlLogix-XT model, it has increased protection against corrosives, salts, humidity, moisture/condensation, and fungal growth. It supports information exchange, real-time I/O messaging, and general messaging. With Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) Safety, it allows the simultaneous transmission of diagnostics information and control data over a common network. And it is part of the ControlLogix EtherNet/IP Network Communication Modules. The ControlLogix-XT 1756-EN2TRXT Bridge features a robust construction and is ANSI/ISA2, IEC, and EMC- compliant, making it ideal for caustic or extreme environments. It can be used for control applications where temperatures range from -25-70 °C (-13-158 °F). With product longevity guaranteed, installing this into the system will help reduce integration and installation costs. Chassis-based, the 1756-EN2TRXT Communication Module can be mounted in any slot. It has a total of 128 TCP connections, 256 CIP connections, and 128 + 128 CIP Unconnected Messages (backplane +Ethernet). Its current draw at 5.1V DC is rated at 1 A. It comes with a communication rate of 10-100 Mbps and can support up to 8 CIP Motion Axes. It has a packet rate capacity of 2000 HMI/MSG packets per second. When used with 1756-L7x ControlLogix controllers, it has a capacity of 25,000 I/O packets per second.
