The Allen-Bradley 1756-HIST1G module is a FactoryTalk HME or Historic Machine Edition module from the ControlLogix series. Its normal power consumption rating is 5 Watts and its maximum power consumption rating is 7 Watts. The 1756-HIST1G FactoryTalk HME module has a lithium battery for backup that is chargeable but not removable. This battery provides backup power for the 5-KB SRAM in the module. This ME module has 512 KB of SRAM that is battery-backed and a 128K L1 / 128K L2 Cache. In addition, this 1756-HIST1G module has CompactFlash Type II with DMA Flash Memory and One Ethernet 10/100T IEEE 802.3 type of port. The 1756-HIST1G uses an irremovable rechargeable lithium form of battery.

The 1756-HIST1G has Fanless operation and consumes a maximum of 7 Watts (5 Watts typical) of electrical power.
