The 1756-IF16HK from Allen Bradley offers a vast range of features for the ease of automation; it belongs the HART Analog Input Module series and features a crystal clear display of messages with a high resolution of 16 to 21 bits. This device may be susceptible to overvoltage, but the overvoltage protection feature of this particular device can save the machine from damage with its 8 Volts DC capacity. Additionally, this unit can work up to 50 Volts continuous in terms of the Isolation voltage.

The 1756-IF16HK model is equipped with ControlLogix Hart modules to support the maximization of the system’s performance through the combination of real-time HART data. Enhanced insight into the device status simplifies the commissioning, operating and maintenance of the automation procedure. It bears an open enclosure and a maximum power dissipation of 5.2 Watts at 60 degrees Celsius.

The coating of this particular model is conformal, covering the contours of the circuit board with a thin polymeric film, added to give protection against moisture, chemicals, dust, and temperature highs. In case of system and field side failures, this model contains comprehensive I/O diagnostics.
