The 1756-IF8IK is a ControlLogix Isolated Analog Input module by Allan Bradley that enables a direct flawless connection to HART devices without any extra wiring or external HART multiplexers. More field oriented device data like HART Primary Value, Secondary value, third value, fourth value and other device status information is made accessible with the inclusion of this model. Directly connected HART devices are individually managed by this model; it has 8 channels and a dedicated HART modem for each individual channel.
This communication device is coated conformally with a polymeric film that uniformly provides protection from harsh conditions.
The 1756-IF8IK offers a max power dissipation of 5.2 Watts at 60 degrees Celsius. The I-O ranges of this device vary from 0 to 10 Volts; it has a 24-bit resolution and draws 200 mA of 5.1 Volts.
The 1756-IF8IK unit offers Removable Terminal blocks of 1756-TBNH and 1756-TBSH. The device belongs to RSLogix 5000 software, version 8.02.00 or later. The model also draws 150 or 400 mA of 24 Volts. A variety of voltages allow smooth functioning of the device under every challenging situation. This model dissipates 100 mA of backplane current at 5 Volts and 3 mA of backplane current at 24 Volts.
