1756-L62S

The 1756-L62S is a communication protocol module by Allen-Bradley which features unique communication benefits. This module is a GuardLogix Controller with a 4 MB memory and a 6 MB safety memory. This GuardLogix controller module is a certified controller system for use in safety applications. This GuardLogix controller system supports both SIL3 and PLe safety applications. The GuardLogix controller clubs the primary controller and the safety partner for unified functioning. The model has a 4 MB memory for standard tasks while 1 MB memory dedicated for the safety tasks and other like components. The smart and efficient key switches are placed on the front of the primary controller which allows operation of the controller modes in a convenient way. The maximum I/O range of this 1756-L62S is 128,000 whereas the maximum analog I/O range is 4000. The current drawing capacity at 5.1V DC is 1200 milliamperes and at 24V DC is 14 milliamperes. It is worth noting that the power dissipation of this device is 3.5 Watts and the thermal dissipation is 11.9 BTU per hour. The continuous isolation voltage capacity is 30 Volts in this device.
