The 1756-L74K ControlLogix 5570 Conformal Coated High-Performance Processor by Allen-Bradley is a controller in the ControlLogix controller. The controller has a maximum of 100 controller’s programs/tasks and comes with a built-in USB 2.0 communication port for programming, configuration, and firmware update. It comes with 16MB non-volatile (user-memory) with 0.98 MB I/O memory and it has an optional 1GB (shipped with controller) or 2GB non-volatile storage memory. The controller has a maximum I/O support capacity of 128,000 and it can support a maximum of 4000 Analog I/O and a maximum of 128,000 Digital I/O. It comes with an energy storage module and draws a 5mA backplane current at 1.2V DC and of 800mA at 5.1V DC.
The 1756-L74K has a net operational heat dissipation of 2.5W with a thermal dissipation equivalence of 8.5 BTU/hr and it provides 30V circuit isolation between USB port-to-system using basic insulation type tested at 500V AC for 60s. It comes with an internal EtherNet/IP and ControlNet communication options with about 256 EtherNet/IP; 128 TCP and 100 ControlNet network connection capacity and it can support a maximum of 500 connections. The 1756-L74K has a designated T4A (North America), T4 (Atex), and IECEx T4 temperature codes, and comes in an open-style enclosure. Its operational temperature ranges between 0 °C and 60 °C (32 °F and 140 °F) at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity and it is stored at a temperature of -40-85 °C (-40-185 °F). It has an EIC-tested operational shock withstand of 30G and it can also withstand an operational 2G vibration at 10-500Hz.
