The 1756-N2XT is an Allen-Bradley Slot Filler Module with RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 communication ports. Its backplane current at 5 Volts is 800 milliamps and its backplane current at 24 Volts is 3 milliamps. The SERCOS data rate is 4 or 8 Megabits-Second. The current draw of the 1756-N2XT is 1.2 amps and the power dissipation of 6.2 Watts. The module’s thermal dissipation is 21.2 BTU-hour with an isolation voltage of 50 Volts continuous. The 1756-N2XT has a temperature rating of -25-70o C and it is GOST_R and ROSTECHNADZOR certified, The 1756-N2XT is ideal for application in a 1756 ControlLogix chassis. It is a slot filler for closing off unused slots in a ControlLogix-XT chassis for safety and maintenance purposes. It has no enclosure. The 1756-N2XT’s maximum current per point is 0.5A at 60 °C, its maximum current per module is 4A at 60 °C, and its isolation voltage is 265V continuous. The 1756-N2XT module’s key features include On, Off, Fault States Per Point: Hold the Last State, and States in Program Mode. It is fused mechanically with a slow blow fuse and its fused/group is 3.15A at 250V AC. The 1756-N2XT module mounts in a ControlLogix chassis and uses an RTB: 1756-TBNH module, a 1756-TBSH module, or an Interface Module (IFM) for connecting all the field-side wiring.
