The Allen-Bradley 1756-OF8IHK is a ControlLogix HART I/O Module. This module is tested for its durability by an ASTM B845-97 Method G accelerated test environment, 20-day exposure, and by IEC 60068-2-60 Test Method 2 accelerated test environment, 20-day exposure. The 1756-OF8IHK is supported by DTM together with the C-UL-us, CE, RCM, Ex, KC, EAC certifications.

The 1756-OF8IHK operates in DC input voltage with a rating of +/- 24 Volts DC with overvoltage protection. Also, it can run on 250V AC isolation voltage with 15% rate at 4-20A. It has a 15 Bits across 24 Miliamperes resolution rating and 8 isolated differential outputs and 1 HART modem per channel with a module HART scan time of 1 s w/ HART-enabled (estimate). The amperage input range varies from 0-20 Milliamps and 4-20 Milliamps. It is also compatible with HART 6 and 7.

The Allen-Bradley 1756-OF8IHK ControlLogix HART I/O Module provides chassis-based modules to support a variety of digital, diagnostic digital, analog, motion control, and specialty I/O for meeting all application needs. The 1756-OF8IHK can be used for any of the I/O modules in the local chassis of a ControlLogix controller or in a chassis that is linked to a ControlLogix controller across the ControlNet or the EtherNet/IP networks.

The 1756-OF8IHK requires either a removable terminal block or a Bulletin 1492 wiring interface module for connecting all the field-side wiring.
