The ProSoft CLX-PVX module is a Fisher PROVOX ControlLogix module manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Its power consumption ratings are 675 milliamps at 24 Volts DC and 5 milliamps at 5.1 Volts DC, while its maximum power dissipation is 20 Watts. It features 1 primary and 1 secondary BNC connector for connecting to a PROVOX network. The operating temperature of this module is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and it enables the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processor to control PROVOX input/output devices. The auto-configuration capability of the CLX-PVX module detects the PROVOX network cards and I/O modules, and significantly decreases configuration errors by creating a scan list.

The multi-color LEDs on the front of the ProSoft CLX-PVX ControlLogix module act as status indicators of communications between the PROVOX module and the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix controller. They also indicate the state of the PROVOX Remote I/O network. This ProSoft module has support for up to 64 input/output cards and it supports 250 words of input data and 248 words of output data transferred on an input/output connection to a ControlLogix processor. It can be used on the desktop or mounted on a DIN rail. A 4-character scrolling LCD shows the status of the ProSoft CLX-PVX PROVOX ControlLogix module. This module has multiple modes of operation that are designed to optimize production. Its monitor mode uses live input/output data to test and verify conversion logic without negatively affecting the running legacy system thereby minimizing the risk of production loss resulting from programming errors.
