The Allen-Bradley Logix5555 is a ControlLogix module in the Logix5000 Controllers series. It has an RS-232 serial port that supports communication options like ASCII, DF1 full/half-duplex, DF1 radio modem, DH-485, and Modbus communication via logic functions. The Logix5555 can handle 32 controller tasks with up to 100 programs per task and this number includes all event trigger tasks. It can communicate over networks like ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, DH+, Remote I/O, SynchLink and various third-party process and device networks. The Logix5555 controller has a 1.5 MB user memory and a 208 KB I/O memory. The Logix5555 comes with a maximum of 128,000 I/O with any combination of a maximum of 128,000 digital I/O and a maximum of 4000 analog I/O.
