The MVI56E-MCMXT is a server-enhanced network interface module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module belongs to the ProSoft Series of network interface modules. The ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module features a single-slot 1756 ControlLogix compatible backplane, a 4-character display, scrolling, an alphanumeric LED display of the status and diagnostic data in plain English, support for RIUP (removal and insertion under power,) 10/100Mb Ethernet port for network configuration and diagnostics with the auto cable crossover detection. The ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module enables the Modbus Master or Slave connectivity to the Modbus RTU/ASCII modules. Each ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module port can be set as a slave or master. The ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module serves as an input/output device on the ControlLogix backplane, making the Modbus data look like an I/O data to the processor. The ProSoft MVI56E-MCMXT Network Interface Module is applicable in Logix-XT™ control panel, enabling it to effectively function in harsh environments.
