PS56-LON-001

The Prosoft PS56-LON-001 SlotServer LonWorks communication interface module is a 3rd party SlotServer interface module that provides interface points for the transmission of data between the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform and the standard local operating network (LonWorks). This module provides configurable profiles on the local operating network that allows the major industrial automation network data to be bound to the SlotServer for quick and easy data transfer. The PS56-LON-001 module is designed to be physically installed in a single slot on the ControlLogix local or remote rack, and it draws approximately 600 mA of backplane current at 5 Volts DC. It supports both Ethernet and Serial Communication network ports that provide the ControlLogix module with an interface to a wide range of protocols available in the FieldServer driver library for automation building and industrial control processes.

The PS56-LON-001 module has 2 RS-485 serial ports, one 10/100BaseT Ethernet Port, and a TP/FT-10 (LonWorks) port for the easy integration of the ControlLogix module with a wide range of communication protocols. It comes with status LED indicators that show the module status, backplane transfer status, communication status, configuration error, system error status, and the serial and Ethernet activities. The PS56-LON-001 module is designed for operation within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), and at a non-condensing relative humidity level of up to 95%. It is stored at a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
