SST-PB3-REM-CC

The Allen Bradley SST-PB3-REM-CC is engineered as a PROFIBUS DP Slave/Master Communication Module, focusing on seamless communication within Profibus networks. This device is specifically designed to serve as a Logix™ scanner, facilitating efficient data exchange among devices in an automation setup. This particular variant of the module features a conformal coating, enhancing its durability in harsh environments.

Powering this communication module is the MPC8313 processor, which provides efficient processing capabilities for network communications. The module is equipped with 64 MB of DDR2 SDRAM for working memory needs, ensuring smooth data management during operational processes. Internal flash memory is rated at 16 MB, allowing for necessary firmware storage.

Communication is enabled through the EtherNet/IP interface, which supports up to 5 CIP connections, facilitating considerable data throughput. Maximum input data capacity is rated at 1,996 bytes, while maximum output data can reach up to 1,980 bytes, supporting a wide variety of command and control applications.

Designed to operate reliably, the module maintains functionality from -25°C to 70°C, making it suitable for various industrial temperature extremes. Furthermore, the storage temperature can range from -40°C to 85°C. For humidity, the operating conditions allow for relative humidity levels between 5% to 95%, provided there is no condensation. Current consumption during operation is maintained at 150 mA at 24 VDC.
