The Allen-Bradley FLEX 5000 5094-AEN2SFPRXT adapter is a dual-port Ethernet/IP adapter with SFP. It has a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. This dual port adapter is suitable for extreme conditions and it can support up to 16 FLEX 5000 I/O modules. It has a speed of 10/100 Mbps. The adapter is mainly used to support fiber and copper pluggable modules by using the SFP slots. It offers high speed data transfers across the network with the Logix 5000 controller. The 5094-AEN2SFPRXT adapter can be easily configured by using the Studio Logix 5000 designer software. The 5094-AEN2SFPRXT adapter can be mounted using a DIN rail. A rail latch is present on the top of the module. The front of the module comes with an IP address label along with different ports. It has 2 SFP slots along with the earthing point.
The 5094-AEN2SFPRXT adapter has LED indicators that are the Status, NET, Link 1 and Link 2 LEDs. A rotary switch is present that can be used to switch between different IP addresses. The removable power terminal block is installed on the lower right side and it is used to power the adapter. It dissipates 7 Watts of power with 18 Volts DC voltage. The thermal dissipation rating of the adapter is 23.9 BTU per hour. The surrounding air temperature should not exceed 70 degrees Celsius.
