The 5094-AENRTB-QTY5 Terminal Block by Allen-Bradley is a FLEX 5000 Removable Terminal Block or RTB. It is used with Ethernet/IP adapters from the FLEX 5000 series. It comes in a pack of 5 screw type RTBs. This RTB uses a wire size between 22 and 14 AWG. The wire strip length is about 12 millimeters. It uses solid or stranded copper wire for connection. These wires have high insulation and they are used for single wire connections only. The wire comes with a 105 degrees Celsius temperature rating for use. The 5094-AENRTB-QTY5 RTB has a torque of 0.4 N-m. The FLEX 5000 adapter can use the RJ-45 port to transfer data and information at high speed across the industrial network between I/O modules and Logix controllers.
The 5094-AENRTB-QTY5 Removable Terminal Block is installed on the bottom right side of the adapter. Along with the RTB, a PRP/DLR switch is present on the adapter. Four LED indicators are present on the front side to indicate the network status. The network adapter can be mounted both vertically and horizontally by using the DIN rail mounting base. A space of 1 inch should be left clear for ventilation during the adapter mounting process. The module is powered by using the 5094-AENRTB-QTY5 RTB and the power is passed across the module power bus. The module power source must be limited to 10 Amps maximum with a voltage rating between 18 and 32 Volts DC. The surrounding air temperature should be set in between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius. The adapter has an open enclosure and it can be used only for indoor purposes.
