The Allen-Bradley 5094-AENSFPR Ethernet adapter module has been designed and manufactured as part of the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation FLEX 5000 series. It can work with up to 8 FLEX 5000 input and output modules at a time. The 5094-AENSFPR Ethernet adapter module can support both copper and fiber media. It supports Ethernet communication speeds of up to 1 Gbps. The 5094-AENSFPR Ethernet adapter module also supports configurable power monitoring and the DLR, linear, and star topologies.

The 5094-AENSFPR adapter is an Allen-Bradley Ethernet/IP adapter. It is used in modern Allen-Bradley drives for data and information transfer. The Ethernet/IP network is an industrial network protocol which aligns with common industry protocols that are used in modern industries and factories. The Ethernet adapter is used with wired interfaces. The connection is made using the RS 45 port located in the adapter. It is part of the Flex 5000 series. It supports A voltage range between 18 and 32 Volts DC and it comes with a current rating of 1250 milliamps. The inrush current rating of the adapter is 3200 milliamps for 100 milliseconds. The 5094-AENSFPR adapter should be operated in a temperature range between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius.
