The 5094-IB16XT sinking input module is a digital 16-point standard sinking input module that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley in the FLEX 5000 safety series of I/O modules. It is made to work with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 series controllers. The 5094-IB16XT sinking input module has 16 I/O points for connection and communication. The minimum on-state current rating per I/O channel is 1 milliamp. It is rated for an on-state voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC voltage and it can operate safely in extreme industrial environments. The 5094-IB16XT sinking input module is rated as a standard module rather than a safety module because it does not come with the functional safety capabilities that the safety modules have.
