The Allen-Bradley 5094-OW8I standard FLEX 5000 I/O module is made to connect to Allen-Bradley industrial controllers with version 31 of the Logix Designer Application such as the GuardlLogix 5580, ControlLogix 5580, Compact GuardLogix 5380, and the CompactLogix 5380 controllers. This I/O module is an 8-point I/O module that has 8 isolated and normally open relay outputs. It is rated for 5 to 240 Volts AC voltage or 125 Volts DC voltage. It operates at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. When the 5094-OW8I I/O module is being programmed and when it is in the Communication Fault mode, its individual output points can be configured into specific states. These configurable output starts are the off-state, the on-state, and “Hold the Last State.” It takes the outputs about 10 milliseconds to change their states.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-OW8I standard FLEX 5000 I/O module comes with built-in internal electrical isolation between its system-side power bus and its field-side power bus. This module has status indicators for each of its outputs that let the users know the status of the outputs as they operate. These indicators can be yellow or red depending on the status of the output. There are also status indicators for the whole module and for the power. The output current rating for each of the 8 output channels is 2 Amps. If the 5094-OW8I I/O safety module does not have any snubbers on it, the off-state leakage current rating is 0 milliamps.
