The 5094-RTB32VXT Removable Terminal Block belongs to the FLEX 5000 series of products manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This module is a high density module and it has features that are designed to withstand extreme and harsh environments. The 5094-RTB32VXT Removable Terminal Block has RMS and EX certifications to show that it meets the requirements of applications in hazardous environments. The IECEx temperature code rating of the module is T4. It is compatible with the 5094-TB32VXT Terminal Base Assembly. The 5094-RTB32VXT Removable Terminal Block and the mounting base must be ordered separately since the base assembly does not ship with the I/O module. It has 250 Volts of SA to chassis and channel to chassis isolation voltage. Stranded or solid copper wires which are rated at 105 degrees Celsius can both be used on the installed module.

The 5094-RTB32VXT Removable Terminal Block is designed to be used with 32-channel sinking type 12/24 Volts DC rated input modules which have 18 to 32 Volts DC sensor-actuator power voltage ranges and 2.6 milliamps per point and 100 milliamps per module of sensor-actuator power current. The system power for the FLEX 5000 I/O system is provided by the terminal block assembly. The users must select a SELV-listed power supply as the external power supply of the module. Depending on the requirements of the FLEX 5000 I/O module, the users have the flexibility to select the removable terminal block as they see fit. The backplane end caps and Ethernet adapter are the most essential equipment for getting started with the terminal base assembly installation process. The shield bar of the system is connected to the back of the removable terminal block by inserting the mounting hooks of the shield bar into the holes which are situated in the last row of the terminals. The block does not support the RIUP capability which allows for hot insertion and removal.
