The 5094-RTB3AC Removable Terminal Block or RTB is an Allen-Bradley terminal block that belongs to the FLEX 5000 product line. This AC screw-type removable terminal block can only be used in non-extreme environments. Some of the environmental specifications of the module include a -40 to 70 degrees Celsius storage temperature range, a 5 to 95% range of tolerable non-condensing relative humidity, and 5 g of maximum tolerable vibration at 10 to 50 Hertz. The compatible mounting base of this module is the 5094-MB mounting base. This screw-type terminal block accepts copper wires with 12 millimeters (+/- 1 millimeters) of insulation stripping length. The torque specification of the terminal block is 0.4 N-m. The system-side power and field-side power in the system are provided by the 5094-RTB3AC Removable Terminal Block.

The 5094-RTB3AC Removable Terminal Block can be used with the 5094-OA16 and 5094-OA16XT output modules which have 85 to 264 Volts AC of SA voltage range at a 47 to 63 Hertz frequency range and at 3.5 Watts of rated power dissipation. If the FLEX 5000 I/O system is facing a power problem, it is advised to verify that the RTB is properly seated in the adapter. The essential components that are needed for the terminal base assembly installation include a DIN rail, a mounting base, the RTB, a shield bar, and the SA power jumpers. When connecting the wires to the screw-type terminals, a screwdriver must be used to close the terminals with 0.4 N-m of torque. The wire removal process is simple because the users only have to turn the screwdriver counterclockwise to open the terminal.  The 5094-RTB3AC Removable Terminal Block can be used to expand applications and systems in different industries.
