The 5094-RTB3ACS Removable Terminal Block or RTB is an Allen-Bradley terminal block that belongs to the FLEX 5000 family of I/O modules. This spring-type AC removable terminal block must be used only in a non-extreme industrial environment. It comes with environmental specifications and certifications such as a -40 to 85 degrees Celsius storage temperature range, 30 g of rated operating shock, and an ISA S71.04 G2 corrosion resistance classification. The 5094-MB mounting base is the compatible mounting base that can be used with this terminal block. The mounting base is not included with the 5094-RTB3ACS Removable Terminal Block. The mounting base and the RTB must be assembled together to form a complete terminal base. It expands the users' I/O facilities while supporting the easy connection of the field wiring to the system.

The 5094-RTB3ACS Removable Terminal Block does not have an applicable torque specification. The user is advised to connect an external power supply to the RTB to provide system-side power and field-side power. If there is no power applied to the I/O system, make sure to turn on the power and double-check the adapter connection of the removable terminal block. The 5094-OA16 and 5094-OA16XT output modules are compatible for use with the 5094-RTB3ACS removable terminal block and it also supports a variety of mounting orientations such as the horizontal, vertical, horizontal and inverted, and the vertical and inverted orientations. Some of the devices needed for terminal base assembly installation include SA power jumpers, a DIN rail, a shield bar, a removable terminal block, and a mounting base. The spring type terminals can be used by pushing the wires into the terminal. In order to open the terminal, insert and hold a screwdriver in the slot above the terminal.
