The 5094-RTB3TSXT Flex 5000 Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) Removable Terminal Block is terminal block for the complete Allen-Bradley Flex 5000 terminal base assembly. The 5094-RTB3TSXT Removable Terminal Block provides terminations for the Flex 5000 I/O modules and a base for easy and simplified field-side wiring. All Flex 5000 I/O modules require a terminal base for installation, and a typical terminal base consists of a mounting base like the 5094-MBXT or 5094-MB and a removable terminal block like the 5094-RTB3TSXT. The 5094-RTB3TSXT Removable Terminal Block has an embedded CJC thermistor that provides cold junction compensation for thermocouple modules. It also has a side shield bar for field-side wiring of both analog and high-speed counter modules. The operators can easily set the installed module position by using the front-side key switches, and there is an I/O connector edge and module guide rail for holding the I/O modules in place.

The 5094-RTB3TSXT Removable Terminal Block has a maximum input current rating of 100 milliamps at 10 Volts DC and 1.8 Amps of Sensor Source Voltage (SSV) output rating at 24 Volts DC. It has a maximum Sensor Actuator (SA) rating of 10.0 Amps and an acceptable input voltage range of 18 Volts DC to 32 Volts DC. The 5094-RTB3TSXT Removable Terminal Block has basic insulation covering and 250 Volts AC of continuous isolation voltage between the chassis and channels and between the chassis and SA. Spring-type I/O terminal strips are made of solid copper conductors with 0.34 x 1.5 millimeters square wire sizes and with an insulation thickness of 1.2 millimeters. These terminal strips are used for making power connections for the user-supplied external power, the I/O SSV wiring, the commons, and the embedded CJC thermistor.
