About 1794-IB32

The Allen-Bradley 1794-IB32 module is a FLEX 24 Volts DC digital I/O module. It comes with 32 sink inputs available. These inputs come in 2 groups of 16 non-isolated inputs and 32 yellow status indicators. This module is attached to an Allen-Bradley terminal base unit and this unit can be the Allen-Bradley 1794-TB32S, 1794-TB32, 1794-TB62EXDX15, or the 1794-TB62DS. The 1794-IB32 can be removed even when the system is powered on because there is no direct wiring between the module and the terminal base. This makes it possible to change modules directly without disrupting the entire system by powering it off.

The 1794-IB32 has a nominal on-state voltage of 24 Volts DC and the on-state voltage ranges from a minimum of 19.2 Volts DC to a maximum of 31.2 Volts DC. Its maximum off-state voltage is 5 Volts DC and its maximum off-state current is 1.5 milliamps. The 1794-IB32's nominal on-state current is 4.1 milliamps at 24 Volts DC and it ranges from 2 milliamps minimum to 6 milliamps maximum. The FlexBus current of this module is 30 milliamps at 5 Volts DC. While there is no isolation between individual channels, the 1794-IB32 has an isolation voltage of 50 Volts which is continuous between the system and field side.
