The 1794-IF2XOF2IXT by Allen Bradley is a Flex based I/O module designed to incorporate different applications and powered by 24 Volts DC. The three main parts of the FLEX system are a terminal base, an adapter (for the power supply), and an I/O module. The 1794-IF2XOF2IXT has a pair of non-isolated and single-ended inputs/outputs which are compatible with terminals such as the 1794-TBNK and the 1794-TB3K. This module has a converter that converts digital signals to analog, to work along with the processed word information. It also interfaces analog signals from its processor memory to its input memory, using block transfer programming moves.
This module’s adapter transfers BTW instructions from one place to another; its unique labeling helps to identify the key switch position and type of the module. It has 5 key switch positions, supporting a total of 2 inputs and 2 outputs and supports an open type enclosure and DIN rail mounting. At its startup, the current drawn from the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT should not exceed 10 A. Do not remove the module while an operation is in progress; this will result in loss of data.
