The Allen-Bradley 1794-IF2XOF2IXT is a combination I/O module from the Flex I/O product family. This module comes with Two (2) isolated analog input and Two (2) isolated analog output channels. It is mounted along a Flex I/O communication adapter which provides backplane power supply to the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT module and a terminal base for wiring of input and output signals. Compatible terminal base for use with the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT are 1794-TB2, 1794-TB3, 1794-TB3S, 1794-TB3T, 1794-TB3TS, and 1794-TBN. The analog input channels of the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT comes with a conversion resolution of 16-bit when configured as unipolar and 15-bit plus sign when configured as bipolar. It accepts current and voltage input signals such as 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA and +/- 20 mA and +/-10VDC, 0-10VDC, +/- 5VDC and 0-5 VDC. For analog output, the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT delivers an output current signal of 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA and +/-10VDC, 0-10VDC, +/- 5VDC and 0-5 VDC. This module is installed to a DIN rail. Applicable DIN rail for use is made of a good conductive material. Corrosion and oxidation protection is also recommended to maintain good conductivity as the DIN rail facilitates the Flex I/O modules including the 1794-IF2XOF2IXT connection to the grounding system. Recommended DIN rail is a zinc-plated, yellow-chromate steel DIN rail to assure proper and continuous connection to the grounding rod. The 1794-IF2XOF2IXT uses Sigma-Delta converter and comes with a configurable update rate of 2.5/5.0/7.5 ms on all channels. It also has an absolute accuracy of 0.1% Full Scale @ 25 degrees C and supports 2’s complement, 2’s complement %, binary, and offset binary data format.
