The Allen-Bradley 1794-IF4ICFXT Flex I/O XT isolated analog input module is a conformally-coated analog input module for the Allen-Bradley Flex I/O distributive I/O system that is designed to provide low-cost input solutions to a wide range of distributive applications. This input module comes with conformally-coated circuitry which allows for the use of the input module even in extreme industrial conditions, and like all Flex I/O XT modules, it is designed to be protected against corrosive and oxidizing gases like ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. The 1794-IF4ICFXT input module has 4 isolated analog inputs that can be configured anywhere between 0 and 20 milliAmps, 4 and 20 milliAmps, ±20 milliAmps, 0 to 10 Volts DC, 0 to 5 Volts DC, ±10 Volts DC, or ±5 Volts DC. The 1794-IF4ICFXT input module converts analog signals to digital signals by using the Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It supports the 2’s complement, 2’s complement %, Binary, and the offset Binary data formats.
The 1794-IF4ICFXT input module has a typical update rate of 2.5 milliseconds on all 4 channels and an absolute accuracy rating of 0.1% on both the current and voltage terminals. The 1794-IF4ICFXT input module is already factory-calibrated, but it can be re-calibrated manually in the field to meet specific application needs. This module supports an external DC power supply use and it has a nominal input voltage rating of 24 Volts DC (19.2 to 31.2 Volts DC).
